Design WTX helped Tammie Locklar’s Dance Studio create a stunning website that educated parents looking for a studio and served as an informational place for current students to keep up with everything through the season. We worked together on their VIP Week package to create her brand mood board, color palette, fonts, and brand voice.
By the end of the week, she had a gorgeous WordPress website!
Creative Process
We kicked off the week by defining TLDS goals as a premier dance studio in Odessa. During her discovery process, we narrowed down her brand to speak to current and future dancers and their parents in a way that would attract and connect with them.
Brand IDENTITY
Tammie wanted a modern look that was family friendly. She also wanted to incorporate pictures of her dancers, which was great to elevate the look of the site. By the end of the day on Monday we had her full identity nailed down to translate over to her website.
The Website
By Day 2, we were ready to jump straight into the site and build out her pages. We started with a static home page where we flushed out the layout and copy and applied everything we had created and established in the brand identity process.
Once that was approved, it was time to build out the rest of the site pages, which included Classes, Calendar, Alumni, Contact, and About Pages. We also added a link to the parent portal for her current students. The finished product was a beautiful site that established TDLS as a premier dance studio and encouraged young dancers to follow their passion.
